This is no joke. Preparation H, Tucks pads, hot showers and Vicodin did nothing to alleviate the pain. I see the doctor on Tuesday, but I'm not sure if I endure this pain is not good .... long and useful suggestions are welcome.

Short answer: No, no.
Long answer: Here's why: If you have a hemorrhoid, it even then creates an opening in the skin (yes, I know this is not the skin on the outside but the lining of the anus and rectum still protects their blood and body the things outside) between blood and a large number of bacteria. No matter how much you sterilize things that are only open to infection is a world of pain.
If you are interested in so much pain ... Sitting in a warm bath? Take drugs? Other than that ... I have nothing.
